Joel and Hannah's love story began at Grand Canyon University theatre department, little did they know that their local romance was about to turn into a long-distance one. You see the day they started dating, a story we know all too well was unraveling, the campus was shut down due to COVID. Over the next several months they continued their courtship-long distance and didn't return to the campus until that Fall. It was then that life began, they both graduated, their love continued to grow, and now, a wedding's in the cards – proof that love can weather any storm.
Every detail of this wedding was thought of, the gold intricated in most of the details, it brought on such a sense of elegance along with the sage and burnt orange and white flowers. Little did they know the day was going to be a hot one in Phoenix for October, they even provided water-cooling towels and fans to their guest. The wedding was held at North Valley Garden, a spacious Mediterranean-style venue in North Phoenix with terra cotta walkways, gorgeous archways, along with beautiful greenery throughout. There was so much elegance throughout the entire day, but the one thing that showed the couple's personality was the doughnut bar, as the donuts were dressed up as a bride and groom.
Hannah did a first look with her dad and a first touch with Joel. As you know I love this intimate moment between bride and groom, it's a chance to talk, share how each other is feeling, and solidify the meaning of their day. For the father and daughter's first look, it's such a nice way to surprise dad and present the beautiful women he raised. Hannah was a beautiful bride, the wedding dress had such floral intricacy with a long veil and a touch of gold for her jewelry.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom partied with their guest. they had fun yard games and danced the evening away.
