A Jewel Toned Wedding: Celebrating Michael and Jocelyn

When Michael and Jocelyn envisioned their wedding day, they imagined a vibrant and intimate celebration full of love, emotion, and unforgettable memories. Their dream came true with a stunning jewel-toned wedding at a historic hacienda, where every detail exuded elegance and warmth. The colors might also give off a NOLA vibe, Michael and Jocelyn did meet while completing their undergrads at LSU, Go Tigers!

Choosing the perfect color palette for your wedding is a deeply personal decision that sets the tone for your entire celebration. Their choice of emerald green, sapphire blue, ruby red, and amethyst purple was about aesthetics and the meanings behind the colors. Emerald green symbolized growth and new beginnings, perfect for their journey as a married couple. Sapphire blue represented loyalty and trust, key elements in their relationship. Ruby red signified passion and love, the foundation of their bond. Amethyst purple stood for wisdom and strength, qualities they both admired and strived for. Jewel toned wedding is a trend I am seeing a lot of. The palette is stunning and makes your wedding photos pop!

The jewel tones complimented the entire day. Jocelyn was stunning in her v-neck, drop-waist wedding dress. The dress had intricate florals, with a train and a long veil adding to her flowy curls. She opted to do a first look with her dad which was very touching and then with Michael. The ceremony took place, and Michael and Jocelyn wrote their vows. The intimate ceremony was also the location of the reception with long wooden farmhouse tables in the garden, Giving a sense of togetherness and a family-style affair. The night progressed with dancing, conversation, and laughter.
